So, you have made the excellent resume, you have all skills, knowledge and experience to get excellent work - you became a real dream of the employer! So, why are you searching for a job from another month, and the prospect to find it seems more and more indistinct?
Here are seven reasons why you do not manage to find work:
1. You do not make job searching your job!
Many people are afraid delayed in process of search. They do not see game of figures behind process of job search. Interview is too figures. The more you on there, the higher chance that to you will be called back, the more often you are called back, the higher probability, that you, at last, will find job.
2. You do not have system or matrix for job search.
The system should comprise all: from statement of the purposes to rules of behavior on interview. The more you automate routine work, the more possible is to concentrate on preparation. I start to prepare for the interview in 2 weeks prior to it. And in general, process of preparation goes automatically and is always the same.
3. You have unrealistic ideas about the price of your skills.
Often people are not successful in job searching due to wrong self-estimation. When process of search lasts longer, than you expected, there arises disappointment, and hopes disappear. Be fair with yourself.
4. You do not notice emotional stress which accompanies job change.
Disregarding this important factor, on your actions the fear to be refused starts to influence strongly. How many people which you know, mix activity and efficiency? I observe it each time when I see how professionals search for work: they show activity by search, but efficiency leaves much to be desired.
