Essential Skills: C++ (preferably UNIX), STL, Boost, OOD, OOP, Multithreading, Sockets, Desired: Distributed systems, parallel computing, grid computing, Algorithm design experience, strong analytical skills.

Expert level C++ /UNIX Developers sought to design & develop algorithms, price calculations & system algorithms for financial pricing applications. You will be developing distributed multi-processing & multi-threaded trading systems for the UK's leading market maker in financial derivatives & margined FX.

You will have circa 3+ years commercial experience coding low-level C++ / STL with Socket programming and multithreading. This is one of the best C++ roles in the City, working with a team picked to build pricing algorithms from the ground up. This team is commissioned to make sure their pricing libraries are ahead of the game
