Urgently required -Virtualisation & Storage Consultant (HP/IBM/NETAPPS)

A leading managed services and IT solutions provider has now got an urgent requirement for a Virtualisation and HP Storage Consultant to join their team!

Work on Multi million pound projects – Train in the latest Microsoft, VMWARE and CITRIX technologies, and the opportunity to upgrade current certificates!

The ideal candidate will have a virtualisation certification such as a VCP (VMware Certified Professional) and ideally have a MCSE 2000/2003 certification and/or a storage certification.

You will have strong consultancy experience with excellent design and implementation experience around the following virtualisation technologies: - VMware ESX Server, VMware VirtualCenter, VMotion, Player etc, MS Virtual Server and Microsoft technologies such as Windows 2000/2003, Active Directory, Exchange. You will have in- depth experience with Storage technologies such as HP, IBM, Netapps. Any experience with Altiris and/or ASE Storageworks would be desirable.

You must have been involved or ideally led projects with values of £1million+. Any experience with presales or bid work (£1million+ values) would be advantageous.

As a Virtualisation & Storage Consultant you will Consult, identify and design large scale solutions for blue chip clients based around storage and Virtualisation.. Projects will range from large scale Vmware implementations and various enterprise infrastructure solutions. Other activities will include Technical Presales, supporting various business units, stakeholders and project management teams.
